\nWe are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of an\u00a0Underwriting Clerk\u00a0which has arisen in our organisation.
\nThe incumbent will be based in\u00a0Lusaka\u00a0and will report directly to the\u00a0Operations Manager.
\nThe suitable candidate will perform the following duties, among others:<\/p>\n
Underwriting Duties<\/p>\n
Processing of policy documents (new business, renewals and endorsements).<\/p>\n
Dispatch issued policy documents to clients\/brokers.<\/p>\n
Processing of renewal notices.<\/p>\n
Issuing of cover notes and yellow cards.<\/p>\n
Processing month end reports and yellow card returns.<\/p>\n
Report for PIA quarterly returns for big clients.<\/p>\n
Attending to client queries.<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies<\/p>\n
5 \u201cGrade 12\u201d passes including English Language and Mathematics.<\/p>\n
Diploma\/Degree in Insurance or equivalent.<\/p>\n
2 years relevant experience.<\/p>\n
Good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
Very knowledgeable with computers, particularly Excel\/Word.<\/p>\n
