\nTRANSPORT MANAGER \u2013 COLD CHAIN (HUNTLEY FARM) (X1)
\nThe required skills for the role include:
\nPlanning, coordinating, and managing daily transport operations, including routing, scheduling, and dispatching.
\nEnsuring all transportation activities comply with local and national transport legislation. Monitoring fleet performance and fuel usage to optimize cost and efficiency.
\nManaging and supervising the team of drivers, transport coordinators, and logistics personnel.
\nEnsuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining high service levels and minimizing delays
\nMaintaining transport records, including maintenance logs, driver hours, delivery documentation, and fuel consumption.
\nDeveloping and implementing procedures for vehicle maintenance, servicing, and inspection schedules.
\nLiaising with suppliers, clients, and warehouse teams to coordinate logistics and resolve issues.
\nPreparing transport reports, analysing KPIs, and identifying areas for operational improvement
\nManaging transport budgets, forecasting costs, and negotiating rates with third-party carriers
\nHandling transport-related incidents, accidents, and insurance claims in coordination with HSE and HR departments
\nStaying updated on regulatory changes and industry trends affecting transport operations.
\nThe required qualifications for the role:
\nFull Grade 12 certificate
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
\nProven experience (typically 5+ years) in transport or fleet management.
\nStrong knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
\nProficient in transport management systems (TMS), GPS tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
\nStrong organizational and leadership skills
\nThe Required skills, Knowledge, and Competencies for the role include:
\nExpertise in route optimization to reduce fuel costs and delivery times.
\nAble to use the transport management systems (TMS) for real-time planning and adjustments.
\nKnowledge of vehicle types, capacities, and maintenance needs.
\nAble to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.
\nAble to communicate clearly with drivers, management, suppliers, and clients.
\nAble to prioritize tasks efficiently and plan resources based on operational demand
\nMs Office Suite, including Excel spreadsheets.
\nTemperature monitoring controls.
\nSALES OFFICER \u2013 (NOVATEK LUSAKA) (01)
\nThe Required Skills for the role:
\nReceiving customers\u2019 orders via purchase order, email, mobile or verbally over the counter and ensuring these are logged in Novatek\u2019s CRM system.
\nLiaising with production and logistics on a daily basis to ensure that product and transport are available where required to satisfy customers\u2019 orders.
\nEnsuring customer invoices are raised and submitted to dispatch for loading of product. Where customers have violated their credit limits or terms than informing them to make payment and holding back on invoicing until this is done.
\nCommunicating to customers progress with regards to the status of their orders and the likely time of delivery.
\nThe Required Qualifications are:
\nGrade 12 Certificate
\nDiploma in the field of Sales & Marketing.
\n2 years\u2019 work experience in a feed manufacturing company.
