\nThe Foreman, Hitachi Trucks will be responsible for improvement of the reliability and availability of the Trucks Maintenance team by building, assessing and continuously improving equipment availability in line with\u00a0MR (214).
\n\u00a0
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Coordinate activities of your team in accordance with the weekly plan
\nParticipate in the formulation of the maintenance plans
\nLiaise with the leadership team on performance issues
\nEmbed the culture of quality repairs and continuous improvement in the team
\nMaintain the Hitachi Trucks equipment currently operating in the Mine site
\nSupervising a team of Artisans to ensure safety and maintenance policies are adhered to
\nEnsure day to day tasks are performed within the Workshop
\nSupport infrastructure, process and systems in accordance with maintenance methodologies
\nCarry out planned repairs and lube servicing in the workshop and field
\nManaging & reporting of the parts availability
\nEnsures that all tasks carried out are as per supervisor\u2019s written and verbal instructions
\nActively contribute to the overall team activities and promote good working practices
\nManage Attendance and Discipline within the team
\nPerform any other duties as required by Management.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications<\/p>\n
Full Grade twelve (Grade 12) School Certificate;
\nCraft or Advanced Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair or equivalent
\nA member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
\nValid Driver\u2019s License
\nPC Literacy.
\nExcellent verbal and written skills in English.
\nAbility to achieve result is a cross cultural environment.
\nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
\nAbility to mentor and train personnel
\nDemonstrated analytical approach to fault analysis
\nGood working experience working on Hitachi dump trucks
\nCommitted to quality workmanship
\nCommitted to safety<\/p>\n

\nExperience<\/p>\n
A minimum of 4 years\u2019 relevant experience in a related role
\nExperience working on EH1700, EH3500 & EH4000 is necessary<\/p>\n
