\nWe are seeking a\u00a0Business Development Lead\u00a0who is passionate about inclusive finance and driving growth. This role is central to ensuring our credit operations deliver sustainable loan portfolio growth, strong risk management, and excellent customer satisfaction at the community level.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Lead, coach, and supervise Credit Supervisors and Recoveries Officers across your assigned territory.
\nMonitor loan disbursements, collections, and portfolio quality to maintain a healthy book.
\nDrive business growth by promoting Valuefin\u2019s financial products and identifying opportunities to expand outreach, including new outlet openings.
\nSupport supervisors in managing delinquency, recovery strategies, and maintaining credit discipline.
\nGrow and manage an SME loan portfolio beyond traditional market channels.
\nConduct field visits, spot checks, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
\nBuild staff capacity through mentorship, training, and succession planning.
\nIdentify and open new market locations.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, or related field.
\nAt least 2 years\u2019 experience in\u00a0microfinance, banking, insurance, procurement, or financial services.
\nStrong knowledge of credit risk management and portfolio monitoring.
\nProven leadership skills with experience managing teams across multiple locations.
\nExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\nProficiency in MS Office; knowledge of loan management systems is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
