\nWhat kind of talent do we pursue?
\nZutari is hiring substation secondary plant engineers with experience designing and implementing PTMC design work from 11 kV to over 400 kV. Position level (junior to senior) will depend on the candidate\u2019s experience. Candidates should have relevant experience in aspects of secondary plant design.<\/p>\n
Zutari\u2019s Transmission and Distribution Energy Unit in is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer\/Technologist to join the team and provide assistance and guidance on a range of projects relating to the design and implementation of Transmission and Distribution projects.
\nThe candidate should have experience in detailed secondary plant design and commissioning in the utility and\/or renewable energy projects in Africa. This is a great opportunity to join an engineering consultancy focused on delivering engineering solutions that enhance the lives of individuals across the globe.
\nThe candidate will also be responsible for building meaningful relationships with local and transactional clients across borders and closer to office<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
B.Eng or B.Sc or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (SA)
\nEIZ or ERB accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Zambia)
\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience
\nProfessional registration or in the process of applying
\nExperience in Transmission and Distribution related projects
\nExperience in protection, control, metering and telecommunication designs in substations and power plants
\nCommissioning experience in substations and power plants
\nExcel, Word
\nBasic Microstation \/ Autocad skills<\/p>\n
Key Technical Requirements:<\/p>\n
Protection coordination studies and implementation
\nProviding input into the design of transmission and distribution substations
\nPV plant and Wind farm project experience
\nPreparation of technical documentation used in the tender process
\nPrepare technical drawings and specifications based on the client\u2019s requirements
\nPerforms highly complex engineering, design, calculations, analysis when required
\nA team player that is willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines
\nA team player excelling in the commitment of resolution of complex issues
\nImplement budget control and associated change control on contracts
\nAssist in conducting risk analysis and reporting on contracts<\/p>\n
