\nWe are looking for a Product Support & Service Engineer \u2013 Screening Solutions to join our team in Solwezi, Zambia
\nThe role will be based from our offices in Solwezi, Zambia.
\n\u00a0
\nPurpose of the role:
\nProvide hands-on technical support and service for screening equipment and aftermarket parts to our Screening Solutions customers in Zambia.\u00a0 Work closely with local teams and customers to promote and optimize the performance of installed screening systems, drive sales of parts and solutions, and ensure reliable operation through troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer training..

\nThe job responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Customer training and efficient technical services support pertaining to all Sandvik Screens and Feeders supplied to customers within West Africa
\nWork closely with the Customers\u2019 Installation and Erection Teams on activities during installation and commissioning of any Sandvik Screening equipment when required.
\nGuide and assist Customers\u2019 Maintenance Teams with fault diagnosis work on Sandvik Screening equipment.
\nWork with Customers\u2019 Maintenance Teams perform repair and fault finding using a hands on approach.
\nCooperate closely with the sales team or directly with the customer to promote Screening Solutions equipment and aftermarket sales.
\nSupport with parts lists and parts planning
\nProvide relevant feedback through equipment condition, performance and process audits, to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity.
\nIdentifies current and future\/potential customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with them and other persons in a position to understand service requirements. Provides product service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
\nWorks towards achieving set KPI\u2019s, for both the Customers and Sandvik.
\nEnsure all work assigned to the team, related to Screening Solutions, is carried out in accordance to set budgets and timeframes.
\nProviding relevant information to on Screening Solutions installed base in West Africa to the Region Africa team and to ensure accurate installed base information is maintained in the database
\nAccept and perform tasks delegated by Rock Processing Management as deemed necessary
\nEnsure all Sandvik policies and procedures especially the health, safety and environmental policies are adhered to by the team.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications & Experience Requirements<\/p>\n
Degree Qualified Metallurgist or Mechanical Engineer or good trade relevant background with relevant equipment technical and managerial experience.
\nHave at least 5 years\u2019 experience in a similar role in the Mining Industry with screening experience
\nAcquired knowledge in Crushing and Screening operations in both surface and underground.<\/p>\n

\nOther Requirements & Competencies<\/p>\n
Have a valid passport, and willing and able to travel, without restrictions, within the Central African Territory at relatively short notice, and also as per customers\u2019 or Sandvik\u2019s requests\/requirements.
\nPossess relevant driver\u2019s license accepted in Zambia.
\nAbility to communicate in French will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
