This role will focus on sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the delivery of raw materials and supplies \u2014 particularly bulk commodities and local items critical to our manufacturing processes.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u00b7 Assist in sourcing and procuring raw materials, packaging, and other supplies, both locally and in bulk quantities.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Liaise with local suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of goods.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Prepare purchase orders and track them to ensure on-time delivery.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Maintain accurate procurement records and support inventory tracking activities.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Evaluate supplier performance and identify new sourcing opportunities.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to fulfil procurement needs.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Support price negotiations and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Explore new markets and suppliers for quality, cost-effective raw materials to reduce production costs and enhance product quality.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Conduct regular stocktakes to support inventory accuracy.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Engage with suppliers to review and improve the quality of their farming products.<br \/>\nRequirements<br \/>\n\u00b7 Diploma or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Minimum of 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Familiarity with sourcing local and bulk materials is a plus.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Good knowledge of procurement software and MS Office (especially Excel).<br \/>\n\u00b7 Strong organizational and negotiation skills.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.<br \/>\n\u00b7 High level of integrity and attention to detail.<br \/>\nIf you are looking for a dynamic and supportive work environment that will expose you to end-to-end procurement processes in a growing company as well as growth and career development then this is your opportunity.<br \/>\nFemales are encouraged to Apply.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
