{"id":5685,"date":"2025-10-08T14:00:13","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T14:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/accounts-assistant-management-accounts-at-zambia-centre-for-accountancy-studies\/"},"modified":"2025-10-18T00:14:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-18T00:14:08","slug":"accounts-assistant-management-accounts-at-zambia-centre-for-accountancy-studies","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5685","title":{"rendered":"Accounts Assistant (Management Accounts) at Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOB PURPOSE:<br \/>\nReporting to the Assistant Management Accountant, the incumbent will undertake the maintenance of management accounting records in the Centre to facilitate prudent utilisation of resources, expand the revenue base and ensure accountability.<br \/>\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\n(i) Undertake the maintenance of ledgers and other cost records to facilitate preparation of adhoc financial management reports.<br \/>\n(ii) Undertake safe custody of accountable documents to ensure their security.<br \/>\n(iii) Undertake periodic verification of assets to enhance asset accounting<br \/>\n(iv) Undertake the preparation of receivables reconciliations to ensure accurate records and reporting.<br \/>\n(v) Undertake the collection of debts to ensure timely cash inflows. (vi) Undertake review of invoices to ensure accountability for the Centre\u2019s income.<br \/>\n(vii) Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:<br \/>\n(i) Grade 12 with a minimum of five (5) \u201cO\u201d levels including English and Mathematics.<br \/>\n(ii) Diploma in Accountancy or Application\/Skills level of CA Zambia, ACCA and CIMA etc.<br \/>\n(iii) At least one (1) year practical experience in the relevant field. (iv) Must be computer literate.<br \/>\n(v) Preferably one who has worked with any accounting software.<br \/>\n(vi) Must be a fully paid-up Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) for the year 2025.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
