{"id":5686,"date":"2025-10-08T14:00:13","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T14:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/assistant-stores-officer-at-zambia-centre-for-accountancy-studies\/"},"modified":"2025-10-18T00:14:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-18T00:14:08","slug":"assistant-stores-officer-at-zambia-centre-for-accountancy-studies","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=5686","title":{"rendered":"Assistant Stores Officer at Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOB PURPOSE:<br \/>\nReporting to the Stores Officer, the incumbent will assist the Stores Officer operate ZCAS stores and ensure that all received stock items are properly maintained and accounted for.<br \/>\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<br \/>\n(i) Raise purchase requisitions to requisition for stock purchases and replenishments.<br \/>\n(ii) Receives, inspects and verifies the quality of items received from local and international suppliers and checks for quality, damages and shortages. (iii) Issue stock to users against authorized stores requisitions.<br \/>\n(iv) Raise the goods received noted (GRNs)when goods are received in stores.<br \/>\n(v) Ensure that goods are always in safe custody, providing protection against deterioration, damage and breakages.<br \/>\n(vi) Cost stocks when they are received. (vii) Assist in preparation of monthly stock reports.<br \/>\n(viii) Identify notes and immediately reports damaged, missing items or wrongly supplied items to the supervisor for action.<br \/>\n(ix) Maintain the storeroom in an orderly and clean manner ensuring proper storage of items, especially harmful chemicals.<br \/>\n(x) Perform any other duties lawfully assigned by the supervisor from time to time.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:\u00a0<br \/>\n(i) Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) \u201cO\u201d levels including English and Mathematics.<br \/>\n(ii) Advanced Certificate in Purchasing and Supply.<br \/>\n(iii) Two (2) years relevant work experience in a similar field.<br \/>\n(iv) Member of the Zambia institute of Purchasing and Supply.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
