With 517 hectares of productive plantation on a 25,599-hectare landholding, ZCCL is poised for significant expansion. However, to realize this potential and ensure operational excellence, the company requires skilled professionals in key managerial roles.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Company is looking to fill the following position:<\/p>\n<p>HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER<\/p>\n<p>Role Overview:<br \/>\nTo provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Human Resources (HR) and Administration functions to support Zambezi Cashew Company Limited\u2019s business objectives. The role ensures effective talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and administrative services to enhance organizational efficiency and build a highly engaged workforce that supports plantation and processing operations.<br \/>\nKey Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Strategic HR Leadership<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement the HR strategy in alignment with ZCCL\u2019s corporate objectives and growth plans.<br \/>\nDesign and advise management on HR policies, workforce planning, and organizational structure to support operational expansion.<br \/>\nEnsure HR practices comply with labor laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.<\/p>\n<p>Talent Acquisition &amp; Workforce Planning<\/p>\n<p>Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes to ensure timely hiring of qualified staff for plantation, processing, and support functions.<br \/>\nDevelop workforce plans and staffing forecasts to meet operational and seasonal demands.<br \/>\nEstablish induction, onboarding, and retention programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.<\/p>\n<p>Performance &amp; Employee Relations Management<\/p>\n<p>Design and oversee performance management systems to drive productivity and accountability.<br \/>\nManage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes in line with labor legislation.<br \/>\nFoster a positive work culture that promotes engagement, motivation, and team cohesion.<\/p>\n<p>Training, Development &amp; Capacity Building<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement training programs to build staff capacity and enhance technical, managerial, and leadership competencies.<br \/>\nCollaborate with external partners, including government agencies and NGOs, for capacity-building initiatives, particularly within the outgrower program.<br \/>\nMonitor training effectiveness and link staff development to organizational performance objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Compensation, Benefits &amp; HR Systems<\/p>\n<p>Oversee payroll administration, employee benefits, and statutory contributions in coordination with the Finance Department.<br \/>\nDevelop and review reward structures to attract, retain, and motivate employees.<br \/>\nImplement and manage HR information systems for efficient data management and reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Administration &amp; Facilities Management<\/p>\n<p>Manage administrative services, including office operations, transport, security, and company facilities.<br \/>\nOversee procurement of office supplies and services to ensure smooth operations.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting &amp; Compliance<\/p>\n<p>Prepare regular HR and administration reports for the GM and Board of Directors.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with labor laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) O Levels.<br \/>\nA bachelor\u2019s degree Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.<br \/>\nProfessional membership with the\u00a0Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.<br \/>\nMinimum of ten (10) years of work experience in management or similar position. With at least 5 years in a managerial role.<br \/>\nStrong understanding of Zambian labour laws and employment regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nKnowledge &amp; Skills Requirements<br \/>\nYou must posses the following skills and knowledge:<\/p>\n<p>Strategic and leadership skills<br \/>\nAbility to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.<br \/>\nGood interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nExcellent problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nStrong report writing, communication and presentation skills.<br \/>\nStrong, negotiation skills and tact.<br \/>\nProficient in using computers<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
