\nJOB PURPOSE
\nTo lead the planning, optimization, and governance of network operating expenses (OPEX) and passive infrastructure maintenance across Airtel Zambia, ensuring cost efficiency, partner performance, and uninterrupted network availability without compromising customer experience
\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Opex management of all network operations & maintenance line items
\n\u2022 Planning energy cost \u2013 Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for entire network portfolio
\n\u2022 Reviewing and processing contracts, Purchase Requisition (), Purchase Order (PO\u2019s), and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) Calendars.
\n\u2022 Monitoring and enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with service providers
\n\u2022 Passive Infrastructure Maintenance such as providing support to Field Operations teams for preventive maintenance of power infrastructure systems .
\n\u2022 Reviewing and supporting routine power load assessments to ensure infrastructure operates within optimal parameters
\n\u2022 Partner Management such as establishing and maintaining engagements with infrastructure partners and vendors
\n\u2022 Institute SLA measurement methodology to ensure all Service Partners (SP\u2019)are accurately measured, rewarded and penalized accordingly.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS
\nEducational Qualifications & Functional \/ Technical Skills:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Degree \/ Diploma in electrical engineering or related field.
\n\u2022 Business \/ Finance qualification is an added advantage
\n\u2022 Proficiency in Data Tools & Automation : Expertise in Microsoft Excel, MS Access, SQL, and Excel Macros with the ability to automate reporting and analyze large datasets.<\/p>\n
Relevant Experience:<\/p>\n
\u2022 5 \u2013 10 years\u2019 experience in Telecommunication in operations related field
\n\u2022 Entrepreneurial disposition in decision making and managing resources
\n\u2022 Logical decision-making abilities
\n\u2022 Cost, process and automation Innovation<\/p>\n
