\nThe Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is a statutory body established by an Act of parliament the EIZ Act No.17 of 2010. The Act provides for the registration of engineering professionals, engineering organizations and engineering units and regulation of their professional conduct.
\nThe Institution seeks the services of the following position and invites applicants to fill them:\u00a0RISK OFFICER
\nKey Responsibilities and Duties:<\/p>\n
Zambia hotels<\/p>\n
Support the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management framework across the Institution.
\nAssist in the preparation and execution of the annual risk management workplan. > Assist departments in identifying, analysing, and evaluating business risks.
\nIdentify and assess potential risks before and during project implementation.
\nProvide technical risk reports highlighting high-priority risks and opportunities.
\nEvaluate the internal control environment and prepare reports for management review.
\nRecommend mitigation strategies and ensure execution of risk treatment actions.
\nPromote efficient and systematic risk processes.
\nReview and update risk management policies and procedures.
\nTo consult with the relevant units to quantify and mitigate risks.
\nUpdate Risk Registers.
\nAssessing metrics and monitoring procedures for transactional risks..
\nPerform any duties as assigned by the Supervisor.<\/p>\n

\nKey Requirements:
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 School Certificate
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Studies, or related field.
\nFull CA, ACCA or equivalent
\nWork experience of at least three (3) years as internal and external auditor
\nComprehensive understanding of risks and reporting
\nMembership with a relevant body such as ZICA, ACCA, ISACA, or IRMZ is required.
\nRisk Management certification is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Required Competencies:<\/p>\n
High integrity and honesty
\nAbility to analyse risks reports
\nComputer literate (MS Office)
\nExcellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and coordination<\/p>\n
