About the Role
\nAs a Field Supervisor, you\u2019ll play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations in legume production, focusing on crops like beans, groundnuts, and soybeans. You will manage and support Extension Officers and work closely with smallholder farmers to ensure high-quality production, efficient operations, and strong farmer relationships. Your leadership will help drive farmer success and ensure production targets are met.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Supervise and support Extension Officers and field staff<\/p>\n
Oversee and coordinate production activities with smallholder farmers<\/p>\n
Monitor and evaluate field operations to ensure quality and efficiency<\/p>\n
Provide training and mentorship to Extension Officers and smallholder farmers<\/p>\n
Report on field activities, challenges, and outcomes to management<\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to agricultural best practices and company standards<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Diploma in Agriculture or related field<\/p>\n
Experience in legume production and smallholder farmer engagement<\/p>\n
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills<\/p>\n
Ability to work in rural settings with limited infrastructure<\/p>\n
Motorbike riding skills are an advantage<\/p>\n
