Overview:
\nWe are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of turnkey irrigation projects across Zambia. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in irrigation systems and infrastructure, who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working closely with clients, field teams, and technical specialists.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Manage the full lifecycle of irrigation projects\u2014from planning and design to execution and handover
\nCoordinate with engineering, procurement, and installation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
\nConduct site assessments and oversee installation of irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, center pivot, etc.)
\nMonitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, and report regularly to senior management
\nLiaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain clear communication and resolve issues
\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and technical standards
\nPrepare project documentation including schedules, reports, and risk assessments
\nSupport tender preparation and contribute to technical proposals for new projects<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in project management, preferably in irrigation or agricultural infrastructure
\nStrong understanding of irrigation technologies and system design
\nExcellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills
\nAbility to manage multiple projects and teams across different locations
\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
\nWillingness to travel extensively within Zambia
\nValid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Project Management
\nExperience working with rural communities and commercial farms
\nFamiliarity with Zambian agricultural regulations and development frameworks<\/p>\n
