\nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Litigation Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in dispute resolution, civil and commercial litigation, and regulatory compliance. This role demands exceptional analytical skills, courtroom presence, and the ability to manage complex legal matters from inception to resolution.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Represent clients in civil, commercial, and regulatory disputes before courts, tribunals, and arbitration panels.
\nDraft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other legal documents with precision and strategic clarity.
\nConduct legal research and case analysis to develop sound litigation strategies.
\nAdvise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential risks associated with litigation.
\nNegotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions where appropriate.
\nCollaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and expert witnesses to strengthen case outcomes.
\nEnsure compliance with procedural rules, ethical standards, and jurisdictional requirements.
\nMaintain accurate case files, timelines, and reporting for internal and client-facing purposes.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution; admission to the bar required.
\nMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in litigation practice, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
\nProven track record of successful case outcomes in civil and\/or commercial litigation.
\nStrong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
\nFamiliarity with local and international legal frameworks, including arbitration and mediation procedures.
\nProficiency in legal research tools and case management software.<\/p>\n
