\nJob Overview
\nWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated Solar Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with solar installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will play a key role in ensuring that our solar systems are installed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Install, wire, and commission solar power systems, including panels, inverters, batteries, and other components.
\nConduct site assessments and system designs to determine optimal installation layouts.
\nTroubleshoot and repair solar systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
\nPerform regular maintenance checks and system upgrades.
\nEnsure all installations comply with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures.
\nProvide technical support and guidance to customers and team members.
\nPrepare accurate reports on installation and maintenance activities.
\nStay updated on the latest solar technologies, tools, and best practices.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate.
\nCertificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field is an added advantage.
\nProven experience in solar installation and maintenance.
\nKnowledge of electrical wiring, safety procedures, and solar system components.
\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\nPhysically fit and able to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
\nExcellent teamwork and communication skills.
\nEIZ registration is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
