The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations and company standards to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and contractors.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Enforce and monitor compliance with the company\u2019s HSSE policies and procedures at all project sites.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Conduct daily inspections of the work environment to identify hazards, unsafe practices, or unsafe conditions, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher trainings for site personnel.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Maintain up-to-date HSSE documentation including incident reports, safety audits, inspection checklists, and training logs.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities, prepare reports, and recommend preventive actions.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure that all employees and subcontractors adhere to proper use of PPE and safe work methods.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Support site management in developing and reviewing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Risk Assessments.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Promote continuous improvement in safety performance and foster a positive safety culture on site.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure compliance with local occupational safety and environmental regulations.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Diploma or Technician Certificate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent qualification from a reputable college or university.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0OR a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) from a recognized institution.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum 2 years\u2019 experience in HSSE supervision for Diploma holders.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum 4 years\u2019 experience for Certificate holders or those with an OHS qualification.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proven experience in building construction and renovation projects is essential.<br \/>\nKey Competencies<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong understanding of construction HSSE standards, procedures, and legal requirements.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team engagement.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong observation and reporting abilities.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to implement safety programs and influence positive safety behavior.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.<br \/>\nContract Terms<br \/>\nContract Duration: 4 Months<br \/>\nExpected Start Date: Immediately<br \/>\nN.B please indicate your salary expectation<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
