\nThe Zambia Daily Mail is a Limited Company wholly owned by the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC). The Company is incorporated under the Companies Act, number 10 of 2017 of the Laws of Zambia. It is one of the leading publishers of daily newspapers in Zambia.
\nDEBT COLLECTOR (based at Head office in Lusaka)
\nJOB PURPOSE<\/p>\n
To ensure that customer statements are updated and delivered on time so as to collect funds for the smooth running of the institution.<\/p>\n
To prepare monthly and quarterly debt collection reports.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Timely delivery of customer invoices.<\/p>\n
Reconciliation of customer statements.<\/p>\n
Prompt reconciliation of the Receipts Control Account.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
Full Grade 12 School Certificate with at least 5 \u2018O\u2019 levels including Mathematics and English.<\/p>\n
Bachelor of Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA, ZICA or equivalent.<\/p>\n
At least 3 years relevant experience in a similar function.<\/p>\n
Usage of Pastel Evolution is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).<\/p>\n
