\nZamCow Milk Bank Limited is a Zambian start-up social enterprise building a stronger and more inclusive dairy value chain.
\nWe are engaged in the end-to-end manufacturing of dairy processing and storage equipment including milk cans, milk chillers, pasteurizers, and milk ATMs to ensure that local farmers and processors have access to affordable, high-quality, food-grade technologies.
\nBeyond equipment production, ZamCow Milk Bank also creates market access for dairy farmers by connecting them to reliable milk collection and distribution networks and supports the sector with reproductive-assisted livestock technologies that improve herd genetics, productivity, and sustainability.
\nPosition Overview
\nThe TIG and MIG Welder will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of stainless-steel and mild-steel components used in dairy processing and storage equipment.
\nThis is a hands-on technical role in a growing enterprise that values craftsmanship, precision, and quality in food-grade production.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nFabrication and Welding<\/p>\n
Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components for milk cans, chillers, pasteurizers, and milk ATMs.
\nAssemble components following engineering drawings and specifications.
\nEnsure all welds meet sanitary and food-grade standards required in dairy applications.
\nPolish, grind, and finish welded joints to a smooth, hygienic standard.
\nAssist in the fabrication of frames, tanks, piping systems, and other components.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum: Certificate in Welding or Metal Fabrication and least 3 years of hands-on experience in TIG and MIG welding.
\nDemonstrated experience in stainless-steel welding and food-grade finishing.
\nAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.
\nAdded Advantage: Experience with sanitary piping, stainless polishing, or dairy\/food equipment fabrication.<\/p>\n
