Currently, there are over 120 staff supported by two ICT\u00a0Staff\u00a0catering\u00a0for\u00a0UNDP,\u00a0UNFPA,\u00a0UNDSS,\u00a0UN\u00a0Clinic,\u00a0Common\u00a0Services,\u00a0UNCDF\u00a0and\u00a0UN\u00a0Resident\u00a0Coordinator\u2019s\u00a0Office.\u00a0The\u00a0ideal\u00a0situation\u00a0would\u00a0have\u00a0been\u00a0four\u00a0ICT\u00a0staff\u00a0to\u00a0support\u00a0such\u00a0a\u00a0staff\u00a0count.\u00a0The\u00a0situation\u00a0is\u00a0worsened\u00a0by\u00a0having\u00a0staff located at another far-flung UN Annex building being under the same two ICT staff support. It is expected that\u00a0more\u00a0staff\u00a0would\u00a0be\u00a0provided\u00a0offices\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0UN\u00a0Annex.\u00a0The\u00a0function\u00a0of\u00a0Information\u00a0and\u00a0Communications\u00a0Technology\u00a0(ICT) Associate requires a combination of technical and interpersonal skills. UNDP Zambia is a fast paced and ever-changing environment. To help respond to this challenge and reach our goals we are seeking to reinforce the ICT\u00a0Unit with additional human resources for a period of one year. ICT Unit activities are carefully thought through to\u00a0ensure they are rational, justified and aim to effectively support users\u2019 requirements and needs. The ICT Associate\u00a0will work closely with the ICT Manager as well as the Office Technology Coordinator on tasks and activities that\u00a0support\u00a0UNDP\u2019s\u00a0programmes\u00a0and projects.<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>)
