The TRALARD II Project will be implemented over a 5-year period from January, 2026 to December, 2030 and will cover 32 districts; four (4) on the Copperbelt, five (5) in Luapula, eight (8) in Muchinga, five (5) in Northern and ten (10) in Southern provinces of Zambia. The TRALARD II Project is designed to combat landscape degradation, build community resilience to climate shocks such as droughts and floods, and advance Zambia\u2019s 2030 goal of becoming a low-carbon, resource-efficient, and socially inclusive economy.<br \/>\nThe TRALARD II Project will support the implementation of a jurisdictional Emissions Reduction Programme (ERP) in Muchinga Province to act as an umbrella program that will leverage resources from TRALARD II and other relevant initiatives to attract emission reductions payments from carbon markets to generate additional financing that can be re-invested in the landscape to improve rural livelihood. This is based on successful experience of Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (P161490) and Eastern Province Jurisdictional Sustainable Landscape Program \u2013 Emissions Reduction Project (P155827).<br \/>\nThe Ministry seeks to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons to submit their expression of interest \/ application for the following two (2) years renewable employment contract:<br \/>\nOPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICERS X 2(Location: Chinsali and Choma)<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE:The Operations Support Officers will assist in the organization of work, schedules, programmes, and activities of the project, and help manage relevant administrative duties under the supervision of their respective Provincial Project Operations Officers.<br \/>\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY\u2022 Provide and support PIU team and clients in effective quality service;\u2022 Assist and support the application process and review of sub-project proposals, preparing summary reports, and facilitate data entry and management of the information system;\u2022 Support monitoring and evaluation activities of the project;\u2022 Assist and support in procurement and financial management activities and processes;\u2022 Prepare, submit and check the accuracy, completeness, and timely conveyance of correspondences;\u2022 Manage and respond to inquiries or other general information, and\/or refer such inquiries to the appropriate staff;\u2022 Manage appointment schedules and reservations, ensuring that conference venues, transport, and other logistics are available in good time;\u2022 Maintain and manage records of project activities including inquiries, telephone calls, meetings, travel information, vehicle movements, service, and personnel welfare;\u2022 Handle and process mail including performing typing duties incidental to the work; and\u2022 Undertake any other task as assigned by the Provincial Project Operations Officers.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE\u2022 Grade Twelve (12) Certificate;\u2022 A degree in Business Administration, Urban and Regional Planning, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Development Economics, or any other discipline;\u2022 Five (05) years\u2019 experience in a similar assignment and at least three (03) years for donor-funded projects;\u2022 Excellent organizational and computer skills which should include database management, and fluency in English; and\u2022 Knowledge of multilateral bank operations will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nCommerce degree programs<br \/>\nThe attention of interested candidates is drawn from Section III, paragraph 3.14 to 3.17 of the World Bank\u2019s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers; February, 2025 (herein referred to as World Bank Regulations) which sets forth the World Bank\u2019s policy of conflict of interest.<br \/>\nThe Project Implementation Support Personnel will be selected in accordance with the \u201cGovernment\u2019s Personnel Hiring Procedure\u201d Method as set out in the World Bank\u2019s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers; February, 2025.<br \/>\nFurther information can be obtained from the address below during office hours (08:00 hours to 13:00 hours and 14:00 hours to 17:00 hours local \/ Zambian time), and\u00a0NOTE\u00a0that: Detailed Terms of References (ToRs) \/ Job Description for all advertised positions are available and can be accessed from the following website:\u00a0https:\/\/www.mgee.gov.zm<br \/>\nThe Permanent SecretaryAttn: The Director \u2013 Human Resource and AdministrationMinistry of Green Economy and EnvironmentCorner of John Mbita and Nationalist Road,Ridgeway,P.O.
