JOB PURPOSE

\nTo manage the relationship with Retailers in order to deliver sales targets and maximize site profitability as well as retail site development potential.
\n\u00a0
\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Maximize all sales development potential whilst protecting Vivo Energy Zambia\u2019s interests, through the coaching and motivating of Retailers.
\nDeliver sales & operations targets for geographical area through regular reviews and appropriate action plans.
\nEnsure consistent delivery of Customer Commitment by managing contract compliance using the Territory Manager Site Review (TMSR).
\nIdentify gaps to Retailer competencies and delivery of Customer Commitment; coach, support and advise Retailers with the aid of appropriate tools.
\nDevelop Retailer succession plans within the Territory ensuring Retailer pipeline is in place through active participation in recruitment and selection processes.
\nEnsure that the Retailer trains and develops their staff, and understands the importance of People in delivering the Customer Commitment.
\nReview Retailer\u2019s P&L statements, and support Retailer to develop action plans to close performance gaps.
\nDevelop and maintain a strong HSSE culture within the territory.
\nEnsure that all HSSE standards and procedural compliance are adhered to and stakeholder relationships are managed pro-actively.
\nPlan and conduct site visits in accordance with Call Planning Cycle tool.
\nImplement and support Marketing and Network initiatives.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Minimum of a Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field<\/p>\n
Minimum of 5\u00a0years\u00a0sales and Account management experience<\/p>\n
Proven communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
Proven negotiation skills<\/p>\n
Market awareness<\/p>\n
Commercial acumen and\u00a0problem-solving\u00a0skills<\/p>\n
Proven experience in a similar environment with\u00a0a track record\u00a0of performance.<\/p>\n
Track record\u00a0in a similar environment for developing retail business<\/p>\n
Manual Driver\u2019s License<\/p>\n
