The role involves direct sales management, marketing execution, and close monitoring of stock flow to prevent leakage and support compliance with donor reporting requirements.<br \/>\nKey responsibilities include:<br \/>\n1. Sales &amp; Distribution<\/p>\n<p>Lead sales activities for EGA\u2019s pellet stoves, pellets, and solar products within Zambia.<br \/>\nSupport the RBF project rollout, targeting consistent stove sales with a focus on growth beyond baseline targets.<br \/>\nBuild and manage relationships with all retail and agent outlets, ensuring each performs to agreed sales targets.<br \/>\nPlan and oversee weekly and monthly restocking, ensuring optimal product availability at all outlets.<br \/>\nConduct weekly inventory spot checks to reconcile physical stock against recorded sales and detect any discrepancies or potential leakage.<br \/>\nTrack performance and sales metrics per outlet, ensuring accountability and transparency in sales reporting.<br \/>\nEnsure availability of pellets in all retail outlets.<\/p>\n<p>2. Marketing &amp; Promotion<\/p>\n<p>Develop and execute marketing campaigns, field activations, and customer awareness initiatives to increase product uptake.<br \/>\nManage merchandising, in-store branding, and point-of-sale materials across all retail outlets.<br \/>\nCoordinate radio, social media, and community outreach campaigns aligned with national marketing strategy.<br \/>\nGather customer feedback to inform marketing improvements and support communication outputs.<\/p>\n<p>3. Market Development<\/p>\n<p>Identify and onboard new retail agents and distribution partners in key markets around Lusaka.<br \/>\nConduct ongoing market intelligence\u2014tracking competitor activity, pricing, and customer trends.<br \/>\nWork with the Country Manager to prepare quarterly sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reviews.<\/p>\n<p>4. Reporting &amp; Coordination<\/p>\n<p>Prepare detailed weekly and monthly sales reports, including outlet-level performance, marketing activities, and reconciled stock summaries.<br \/>\nProvide accurate data inputs to support RBF reporting requirements.<br \/>\nCollaborate with warehouse and finance teams to ensure consistency between sales data, delivery notes, and inventory records.<br \/>\nMaintain open communication with EGA\u2019s regional management and marketing teams to align on strategy and execution.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications or specialized knowledge\/experience required:<\/p>\n<p>Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.<br \/>\n3\u20135 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in renewable energy or clean cooking sectors.<br \/>\nProven experience managing retail or agent networks and reconciling sales\/inventory data.<br \/>\nStrong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in Excel or digital POS systems preferred.<br \/>\nFluency in English and at least one major Zambian language<br \/>\nValid driver\u2019s license and willingness to travel regularly to regional outlets.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
