The Organisation was founded in 2013.<br \/>\nThe ACA is currently seeking to engage a reputable audit firm to provide external audit services to the Organisation for the Year ending 31st\u00a0December 2025.<br \/>\n2. Purpose<br \/>\nThe purpose of the audits is to obtain reasonable assurance to express an opinion on the financial statements of the Organisation. The audits will be performed in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards of Auditing (ISA). The audit reports will include an independent Auditor\u2019s opinion on the financial statements.<br \/>\n3. Scope of work<br \/>\nThe successful Audit firm will be responsible for auditing ACA and any of its projects that require separate audits. The Auditor should assess the Organisation\u2019s compliance with donor agreements as well as all applicable laws and regulations.<br \/>\n4. Eligibility Criteria<br \/>\nEligible Audit firms should meet the following criteria:<br \/>\ni.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Five (5) Years of experience auditing in the NGO\/CSO Sector<br \/>\nii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Compliance with legal requirements of registration with PACRA<br \/>\niii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Latest 2025 Tax Clearance<br \/>\niv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Traceable experience in audit reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)<br \/>\nv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Traceable and verifiable experience of providing Expenditure Verification and\/or Audit for three (3) Major Donors in Zambia.<br \/>\nvi.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Three references from similar audits performed within the last three (3) years for both Audit and Expenditure verification<br \/>\nvii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proof of 2025 valid Firm and Partners\u2019 membership and registration with ZICA. Accompanied by practising licences from ZICA.<br \/>\nviii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Financial proposal for the audit services<br \/>\nix.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Detailed work plan that shows the best value for money<br \/>\nx.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Curriculum Vitae for the firm\u2019s three (3) key audit team<br \/>\n5.Deliverables<br \/>\ni. Audited financial statements stating whether the accounting standards have been complied with, and whether they portray the correct financial position of ACA.<br \/>\nii. Specific donor audit reports as required by the funding partner in their own format.<br \/>\niii. Management letter where matters that may not be material to the financial statements, but which the auditors may wish to communicate to ACA, may be documented for management action.<br \/>\n6. Payment Terms<br \/>\nPayment will be made in two instalments:<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a040% upon signing the engagement letter, submission, and agreement of the audit plan with ACA.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a060% upon submission and approval of the final report by the ACA.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A 15% Withholding Tax will be deducted as per Zambian tax regulations<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
