Currently, SEC is offering several employment opportunities at its soon to be opened outfit within the Lusaka SOS Children\u2019s village situated on the corner of Kabanana and Kabwe Road.<br \/>\n1. Resident Medical Officer<br \/>\nThe Resident Medical Officer will support the Principal Medical Officer in providing consultation and leading the team of health providers at the facility. She\/he will be accountable for the following roles and responsibilities:<br \/>\nRoles and Responsibilities<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Supervise other facility staff<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Diagnosis and treatment of patients<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Undertake determination for observation and referral of patients<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Assists build technical capacity among staff through on-the-job training and<br \/>\nmentorship<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Engaging and coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure<br \/>\nthat all parties are on track with the clinic\u2019s vision, requirements, and schedules<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Ensuring that quality standards are adhered to in line with HPCZ stipulations<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant<br \/>\ninformation<br \/>\nPosition Competencies, skills and qualifications<br \/>\n\uf0b7 MBChB or equivalent from a reputable university<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Full registration with the Health Professions Council of Zambia<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Demonstrated experience in treating common ailments including malaria, upper<br \/>\nrespiratory tract infections, sexually transmitted infections, HIV, TB etc.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Able to undertake minor surgical operations, excisions and suturing, dilatation<br \/>\nand curettage, minor fracture manipulation and alignment, etc.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Excellent Computer skills- Excel, MS Word &amp; PowerPoint<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Strong communication skills<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Able to lead a team<br \/>\nSupervision and Reporting<br \/>\nThe RMO will report to the Principal Medical Officer<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
