This role focuses on expanding the company\u2019s customer base, strengthening relationships with corporate, retail, and individual buyers, and achieving targeted monthly sales volumes.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Sales and Marketing Strategy<br \/>\nDevelop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.<br \/>\nIdentify new business opportunities within the poultry market, including corporate clients, distributors, and retailers.<br \/>\nConduct regular market research to track competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.<br \/>\nCollaborate with management to develop marketing campaigns that promote brand awareness and product demand.<br \/>\nBusiness Development &amp; Customer Management<br \/>\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.<br \/>\nNegotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.<br \/>\nCoordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.<br \/>\nResolve customer issues promptly and professionally.<br \/>\nTeam Leadership and Performance<br \/>\nSupervise and mentor the sales team to meet individual and collective targets.<br \/>\nMonitor performance, provide coaching, and implement incentive programs to drive results.<br \/>\nLead regular sales meetings and prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.<br \/>\nReporting and Analysis<br \/>\nPrepare weekly and monthly sales reports detailing volumes, margins, and new customer acquisitions.<br \/>\nMaintain an updated customer database, tracking prospects, contracts, and partnerships.<br \/>\nProvide quarterly updates on market trends and sales strategies<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.<br \/>\nA postgraduate diploma in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in sales management, preferably within the poultry or agribusiness industry.<br \/>\nProven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.<br \/>\nExperience managing a sales team and coordinating with cross-functional departments.<br \/>\nStrong negotiation and communication skills.<br \/>\nExcellent leadership and people management abilities.<br \/>\nIn-depth understanding of poultry production and market dynamics.<br \/>\nAbility to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.<br \/>\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).<br \/>\nValid driver\u2019s license with willingness to travel within Zambia.<br \/>\nResults-oriented and self-motivated.<br \/>\nExcellent interpersonal and presentation skills.<br \/>\nHigh level of integrity and professionalism.<br \/>\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
