Purpose of the role:
\nThe Field Service Technician handles on-site maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of the customer\u2019s machinery to ensure optimum, efficient and reliable operation.

\nContract Duration:\u00a0One (1) Year, Renewable.
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:
\nThe Field Service Technician will be required to perform the following tasks:
\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Compliance with safety standards
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Always comply with safety policies and regulations.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure the correct PPE is worn as per safety policy.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Perform daily assessments to ensure good housekeeping.
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Technical Support
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Meet Monthly KPI\u2019s
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on customer\u2019s machinery.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Attend to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize machine downtime.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Attending scheduled component change outs services.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Attain the monthly Service targets (Initiatives).
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Provide Reliable Service and Support and exceptionally high standard of technical support to the customer.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Determine the cause of problems and submit Field Information Report to factory to assist customer and provide accurate feedback.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Provide technical support to customer (verbal and physical) to ensure products operate continuously.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Customer Relations
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Maintain and enhance Customer relations.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure queries concerning machine maintenance are quickly and efficiently resolved.

\nQualifications:

Advanced Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair
\nDiploma in HER\/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is an added advantage.
\nThree (3) plus years\u2019\u00a0experience in the field.
\nFull member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia
\nValid and unendorsed driver\u2019s License.<\/p>\n
