\nResponsibilities
\nResponsibilities include Health functions but not limited to the following:
\n\u00a0
\nCase management:<\/p>\n
Once patient referrals have been approved by the Site coordinator the following tasks are to be actioned:
\nVerify the details of the referral is accurate and corresponds with the employee dependent list.
\nBook the appointment with the relevant health care facility specific to the specialist or procedure indicated on the referral documents.
\nBook accommodation for the patient and any accompanying adults at the relevant accommodation lodges.
\nCoordinate the transport logistics for the patients travelling between sites for their scheduled appointments.
\nCoordinate the health bus schedule with regards to referrals and seek approval from the coordinator.
\nTrack missed appointments and rebook accordingly.
\nFollow up with the medical service providers on current medical reports and outstanding medical reports, including but not limited too diagnostic and medical findings.
\nCommunicate and follow up on long stay and critical patients.
\nEnsure referring site and Medical doctors receive medical reports timeously.
\nAdhere to the company\u2019s MEEP and SOP for medical evacuation.<\/p>\n

\nAdministrative functions:<\/p>\n
Liaise with the relevant Human resource department on referrals i.e.\u00a0Confirmed and scheduled appointments, Guarantee of payments (GOPS), Missed appointments, Weekly updates on patients offsite for more than the stipulated days, Death notifications.
\nServe as a liaison between medical service provider and the DHSP team to problem solve and follow up on medical related queries.
\nPopulate the relevant information of the various DHSP applications.
\nPopulate the relevant information of the various DHSP trackers.
\nUpdate patient medical folders on the DHSP storage drive.<\/p>\n

\nFinancial administrative functions:<\/p>\n
Counter checking of all invoices from Health and Wellness team consultants and services.
\nSubmission of accounts to coordinator for processing.
\nMaintain a database of approved vendors ensuring compliance with submission of updated documents.
\nAddress vendor inquiries, resolve issues, and foster positive relationships to optimize service delivery.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate
\nDegree in Business Administration \/ Logistics or Equivalent
\nA medical diploma in a related field is an added advantage
\nRelevant Professional membership<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\nExperience<\/p>\n
A minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role
\nAble to plan, prioritize and manage their own activities and office workflow even when\u00a0\u00a0 working under tight deadlines.
\nAble to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities that may require overtime or extended hours.<\/p>\n
