\nJob Purpose
\nThe Warranty Administrator will be responsible of processing warranty claims on a timely basis to ensure proper documentation. Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor. Ensuring accurate costing of all workshop warranty jobs for effective revenue generation, minimum warranty rejections, quality and speed of warranty submissions and monitoring. File and maintain all service records as required by the warrantor.

\nSummary of Key Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
\nResubmit all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
\nFollow up on payment of outstanding claims.
\nWork with the parts sales team to ensure timely receipt of parts quotations to facilitate speedy preparation of warranty repairs.
\nResponsible for guiding the development of quotation\/costing officers for improved competency on warranty cases.
\nPeriodic update of and preparation of Service warranty reports and statistics for Service Management use.
\nMonitor and ensure effective management of warranty stationery.
\nEnsure adherence to standards of costing to avoid revenue losses.
\nAssist with any clerical needs as directed by the fixed operations manager or the controller.
\nEnsure all warranty parts are tagged and in safe keeping.
\nEnsure correct storage of warranty parts
\nEnsure timely disposal of warranty parts as per SOP
\nPerforms other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n

Qualifications and Experience\u00a0<\/p>\n
Grade Twelve Certificate
\nMinimum of Degree\/Diploma in Business or Engineering\/Technical Field
\nMust have a minimum of at least 3 years in the automotive industry\/field
\nMust have proven experience of\u00a0working or handling Warranty works\/duties\u00a0
\nTechnical experience will be an added advantage
\nMust have experience in job billing and costing knowledge<\/p>\n
