Candidates from Luapula Province are highly preferred, though applicants from other provinces willing to relocate to Mansa are also encouraged to apply.<br \/>\nPosition 1: Senior Geologist (1 Position)<br \/>\nLocation: Mansa, Luapula Province, Zambia<br \/>\nReporting to: Director of Operations<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n1. Oversee Manganese and Copper exploration, grade control, and mine geology.<br \/>\n2. Conduct ore sampling, quality control, and stockpile management.<br \/>\n3. Supervise geological mapping, pit face logging, and production reconciliation.<br \/>\n4. Provide geological input for mine planning, resource estimation, and drilling programs.<br \/>\n5. Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance protocols for ore shipments.<br \/>\n6. Coordinate laboratory analysis, blending control, and dispatch logistics.<br \/>\n7. Maintain geological records, reporting, and data validation for management review.<br \/>\n8. Support logistics and operational teams in monitoring ore movement and shipment quality.<br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Experience:<br \/>\n1. Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering (Master\u2019s degree added advantage).<br \/>\n2. 7\u201310 years of relevant experience in base metal mining, preferably Manganese and Copper.<br \/>\n3. Proven track record in Quality Control, Grade Monitoring, and Mine Operations.<br \/>\n4. Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to train junior staff.<br \/>\n5. Must be computer literate (MS Office, GIS, Surpac\/Datamine\/Leapfrog).<br \/>\n6. Must be willing to relocate to Mansa, Luapula Province.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
