ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\u2022 Provide subject matter expertise during the development of strategic business plans, ensuring HSE considerations are integrated into core operations.\u2022 Interpret complex health, safety, and environmental legislation and translate it into actionable internal policies.\u2022 Provide oversight and validation of risk assessments, process safety reviews, and environmental impact assessments.\u2022 Act as a mentor and technical coach for HSE team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.\u2022 Lead post-incident reviews and advise on systemic improvements to prevent recurrence.<\/p>\n
CANDIDATE PROFILE
\n\u2022 Master\u2019s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.\u2022 Over 15 years of progressive experience in SHE management, preferably within the mining sector.\u2022 Proven leadership experience in managing multi-site operations.\u2022 Demonstrated success in implementing SHE systems and driving cultural change.\u2022 Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.\u2022 Proficient in conducting ESG assessments.\u2022 Affiliation to a professional body.
