\nJOB VACANCY: MANAGER FINANCE
\nThe National Technology Business Centre (NTBC) is a Statutory Body established by the Science and Technology Act No. 26 of 1997 and Statutory Instrument No. 136 of 1999, both of which are founded in the National Science and Technology Policy of 1996. NTBC is managed by a Board of Directors drawn from various sectors and industry. The Centre\u2019s main objective is to ensure the promotion, marketing, and transfer of proven and sustainable technologies to entrepreneurs in order to maximize their utilisation and contribute to sustainable national industrial development.
\nThe NTBC is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Zambian Citizen for the position of\u00a0MANAGER FINANCE.
\nNATURE OF EMPLOYMENT:

\nJOB PURPOSE
\nTo oversee the provision of financial management services in order to facilitate implementation of programmes and ensure prudent utilisation and accountability of financial resources.
\nSUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Oversees timely the preparation of financial statements in order to comply with financial and statutory regulations.<\/p>\n
Oversees timely the preparation and submission of financial management reports in order to comply with financial regulations and facilitate decision making.<\/p>\n
Oversees effectively coordination of the development and review of internal controls in order to enhance transparency and accountability in the utilisation of financial and material resources.<\/p>\n
Oversees effectively the monitoring of expenditure in order to ensure that spending is in line with approved budget and financial regulations<\/p>\n
Oversees timely the costing of programmes in order to facilitate preparation of annual budget estimates and disbursement of financial resources<\/p>\n
Oversees timely the preparation of responses in order to resolve audit queries<\/p>\n
Oversees effectively accounting for assets in order to safe institutional property<\/p>\n
Oversees effectively the processing of the payroll in order to facilitate payment of personnel related obligations.<\/p>\n
Oversees effectively the preparation of cash flow forecasts in order to ensure the Centre\u2019s liquidity<\/p>\n
Oversees effectively the storage and distribution of goods in order to ensure accountability, safe custody and availability to end users<\/p>\n
Manages timely the development of workplan and implementation of the performance management system in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance<\/p>\n
Manages effectively human financial and other resources in order to facilitate attainment of set objectives<\/p>\n

\nKnowledge and Skills Requirement<\/p>\n
Full Form V\/Grade 12 School Certificate
\nSchool supplies<\/p>\n
Chartered Accountant Zambia or its equivalent<\/p>\n
Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.<\/p>\n
Minimum Relevant Pre-job experience of 10 Years, of which 4 must be at management level.<\/p>\n
Qualifications under (i) and (ii) must be verified by Zambia Qualifications Authority and verification\/evaluation certificates submitted together with the application
