A\u00a0Tracking Control room operator is\u00a0responsible for monitoring a fleet of trucks and security convoys in real-time using a monitoring system. Key duties include tracking truck positions, updating clients, assigning escorts, and handling incidents like breakdowns or delays. This role requires strong computer literacy, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm during crises.
\nKey responsibilities<\/p>\n
Monitor and track:\u00a0Use the\u00a0Truck Monitoring System\u00a0to track the location of all trucks and report their status.
\nCommunicate and update:\u00a0Provide timely updates on truck positions, incidents, and delays to the client through the monitoring system and WhatsApp groups.
\nAssign and coordinate:\u00a0Assign security escort guards to dispatch locations based on client requirements and ensure they report their positions to the control room.
\nManage incidents:\u00a0Respond to and manage incidents, breakdowns, and delays, making sure all appropriate actions are taken and reported to the client.
\nReport and document:\u00a0Prepare various reports, including daily summaries, tracking reports, and financial requests, and ensure all duty handovers are properly signed.
\nHandle client queries:\u00a0Address client questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/p>\n
\u00a0Computer\u00a0literate, MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
\nPrevious experience will be an added advantage. Must have a combination of experience and training (Diploma or Degree in Information and Technology) which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
\nAttention to detail:\u00a0Essential for accurate tracking and reporting.
\nCalm under pressure:\u00a0Must be able to function calmly and effectively during high-stress situations.
\nMust be a resident of Kitwe or willing to relocate (strictly)<\/p>\n
