{"id":6473,"date":"2025-11-25T14:01:05","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T14:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/process-operator-at-barrick-mining-corporation\/"},"modified":"2026-02-17T00:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T00:14:14","slug":"process-operator-at-barrick-mining-corporation","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=6473","title":{"rendered":"Process Operator at Barrick Mining Corporation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting to the Senior Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring operating, safety and housekeeping standards and parameters set by the Senior Shift Supervisor are met or exceeded.<br \/>\nYour duties will include but are not limited to the following:<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ensure the efficient transfer of ore and waste through the Processing Plant in sufficient quantity as<br \/>\nrequired to maintain circuit parameters as directed by the Senior Shift Supervisor.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ensure the optimal utilization of all fixed plant throughout the processing area as required to maintain<br \/>\ncircuit parameters.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ensure the effective use of grinding media and chemical reagents.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Record all operating parameters and changes as required by the Senior Supervisor.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Maintain communications with Shift Supervisors, all other Processing personnel, Maintenance<br \/>\npersonnel and Metallurgical personnel as and when required.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Maintain all applicable Safety and Environmental standards for yourself and fellow workers within your<br \/>\narea of responsibility.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Maintain a clean and orderly workplace by controlling placement of supplies, spillage clean-ups and<br \/>\nnormal housekeeping duties.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Participate in SAG and Ball Mill reline activities.<br \/>\nTo be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:<br \/>\n\u00b7 Grade 12 School Certificate.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ability to show initiative and have good interpersonal skills.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Able to pass pre-employment medicals.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Good communication skills in English language and comprehension.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Must be willing to comply with LMC safe working practices and standards.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Minimum of two years working experience in the Processing Plant.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
