We provide a full range of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, foliar fertilisers, and plant growth stimulants, backed by strong technical agronomic support.<br \/>\nThe Opportunity<br \/>\nWe are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Sales &amp; Technical Director, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the following;<\/p>\n<p>Increase sales revenue, profitability, and product adoption within Mkushi region.<br \/>\nDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and technical support.<br \/>\nLead and guide field staff, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring efficient branch or regional operations.<\/p>\n<p>Key Performance Areas (KPAs)<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sales Growth &amp; Revenue Achievement<\/p>\n<p>Drive sales performance and achieve revenue, profitability, and product adoption targets in Mkushi Region.<br \/>\nImplement regional sales plans, quotas, and actionable strategies aligned with business objectives.<br \/>\nManage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to order closure and payment follow-up.<br \/>\nDevelop accurate sales forecasts and contribute to annual budgeting.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0Customer Relationship Management &amp; Market Expansion<\/p>\n<p>Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with commercial farmers in Mkushi region.<br \/>\nConduct regular customer engagements to identify needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.<br \/>\nDevelop new business opportunities through market intelligence, research, and farmer outreach.<br \/>\nStrengthen company presence through field visits, product demonstrations, and participation in industry events.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0Technical Agronomy Support &amp; Product Advisory<\/p>\n<p>Provide field-based agronomic guidance on crop protection, nutrition, and sustainable farming practices.<br \/>\nConduct product demonstrations, technical trainings, and on-site support to customers.<br \/>\nIdentify technical issues, provide solutions, and escalate complex cases to senior management.<br \/>\nBuild in-depth product and application knowledge to ensure accurate and impactful farmer support.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0Regional Operations &amp; Administrative Management<\/p>\n<p>Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, expense returns, and market intelligence updates.<br \/>\nEnsure customer and staff issues are handled promptly and efficiently.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate records through CRM or ERP systems.<br \/>\nMonitor competition, market shifts, and emerging trends to guide decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0\u00a0Team Leadership &amp; Performance Management<\/p>\n<p>Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to field staff within the assigned region.<br \/>\nSet clear team goals, delegate tasks, and monitor progress against KPIs.<br \/>\nFoster a positive team environment based on communication, accountability, and innovation.<br \/>\nRecognize high performance, address performance gaps, and support staff development initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7Degree in agronomy\/crop science or related field<br \/>\nProven experience in agronomy, sales, and commercial farmer support (industry experience in agrochemicals is an added advantage).<br \/>\nStrong understanding of crop protection, crop nutrition, integrated pest and disease management, and modern agricultural practices.<br \/>\nDemonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, manage customer relationships, and achieve revenue targets.<br \/>\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\nProficiency in report writing, data analysis, and use of CRM or ERP systems.<br \/>\nA valid driver\u2019s license and willingness to travel extensively.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
