In line with this mission, we are excited to announce the implementation of the Enhancing Inclusive Quality Learning (EIQuaL) Project, supported by a $14 Million Education Systems and Capacity Grant from the Global Partnership for Education. This project aims to reduce Learning Poverty Levels across the country.<br \/>\nPROJECT GOALS<br \/>\na) Ensure learners achieve learning outcome targets by age 10, with equitable results for boys and girls;<br \/>\nb) Equip teachers with pedagogical content knowledge, aligned teaching materials, and gender-responsive practices to enhance literacy and numeracy outcomes;<br \/>\nc) Utilize data-informed strategies for targeted and timely support, improving service delivery and learning outcomes; and<br \/>\nd) Reduce gender inequality in educational access, participation, completion, and outcomes for marginalized boys and girls.<br \/>\nPROJECT DURATION<br \/>\nThe Enhancing Inclusive Quality Learning (EIQuaL) project is set for a duration of three years, renewable upon satisfactory performance.<br \/>\nGRANT MANAGEMENT<br \/>\nSave the Children will serve as the Grant Agent, responsible for ensuring compliance, fiduciary oversight, and providing technical support for effective project delivery.<br \/>\nThe Ministry of Education is inviting applications from qualified candidates who meet the minimum requirements to fill the following position:<br \/>\n14) PROJECT OFFICERS x 2<br \/>\nReporting Relationship<br \/>\nThe Project Officer will be reporting to the Deputy Coordinator \u2013 Operations.<br \/>\nScope and Duties<br \/>\na) Coordinate and compile the preparation of annual work plans and budgets for assigned regions;<br \/>\nb) Preparation and tracking of activity budgets and expenses;<br \/>\nc) Compile implementation reports in assigned Districts and Provinces;<br \/>\nd) Collaborate with other specialists in effectively and efficiently delivering on project mandate;<br \/>\ne) Ensure a flow of regular and complete information on the status of the activities planned and implemented;<br \/>\nf) Manage the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, training sessions and meetings in collaboration with the technical support of specialists;<br \/>\ng) Check the status of the project on daily basis in assigned Districts;<br \/>\nh) Draft and disseminate project-related communication, including emails, memos, activity guidelines and timelines; and<br \/>\ni) Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor as part of the implementation of the project.<br \/>\nRequired Academic and Professional Qualifications<br \/>\na) Grade 12 certificate;<br \/>\nb) Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Human Management, Development Studies, Project Management or equivalent; and<br \/>\nc) Master\u2019s degree in the relevant field equivalent will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nDesirable Personal Attributes<br \/>\na) Strong organizational, planning, and coordination HRA, Business Administration and Development Studies;<br \/>\nb)<br \/>\nc) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;<br \/>\nd) Ability to work effectively in a team and independently; and<br \/>\ne) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
