{"id":6543,"date":"2025-11-28T20:08:13","date_gmt":"2025-11-28T20:08:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/fleet-manager-supervisor-at-huachen-international-supply-chain-limited\/"},"modified":"2026-02-20T00:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T00:14:14","slug":"fleet-manager-supervisor-at-huachen-international-supply-chain-limited","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=6543","title":{"rendered":"Fleet Manager\/Supervisor at Huachen International Supply Chain Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is currently seeking to employ a Fleet Manager\/Supervisor in the Tipper Fleet Department to join our growing team.<br \/>\nPOSITION:\u00a0Fleet Manager\/Supervisor (X1)<br \/>\nLOCATION:\u00a0Chingola<br \/>\nDEPARTMENT:\u00a0Tipper Fleet<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nThe primary objective of this position is to oversee Tipper Fleet Driver activity daily, monitor performance and inspect both drivers and trucks to ensure they are in good working condition and compliant with all relevant regulations.<br \/>\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Conduct road condition inspections, improve vehicle operating efficiency, reduce failure rates, supervise fuel consumption, and control costs.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Driver recruitment, training, assessment, and daily on-site supervision of transport operations.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Implement transport safety management and training.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Establish and implement driver management systems, and supervise drivers\u2019 compliance with company regulations, traffic laws, and safety operating standards.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Investigate and penalize violations to ensure strict fleet discipline.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Review accident cases to enhance drivers\u2019 safety awareness and sense of responsibility.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Conduct driving tests, road evaluations, and background checks for new drivers.<br \/>\n8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Establish a driver performance appraisal system, regularly evaluate performance, and propose rewards and penalties.<br \/>\n9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Verify that drivers hold valid driving licenses and required certifications.<br \/>\n10.\u00a0Address reasonable driver concerns and maintain fleet stability.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum Diploma in Transport and Logistics or related field.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Residents of Chingola, Kitwe and Copperbelt are preferred.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Hold a valid heavy-duty vehicle driver\u2019s license.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in fleet management or driver supervision.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be familiar with heavy-duty trucks, on-site safety operation procedures, road transportation handling procedures and regulations.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be familiar with local road conditions, checkpoints, and local government departments (road inspections, RDA, RTSA, etc.).<br \/>\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Good communication skills, emergency handling awareness, and team communication\u00a0skills.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
