\nJob Purpose
\nThe Wheel Alignment Technician will ensure vehicles\u2019 wheels are properly aligned for optimal performance. Take charge of\u00a0providing professional services and fitting of products on customer vehicles, diagnosing any irregularities and giving recommendations that will enhance customer satisfaction. Be responsible for inspecting and adjusting front-end alignment, suspension systems, and tire wear patterns, among other tasks, to improve vehicle handling and prolong tire life.
\nKey Summaries of Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Perform wheel alignments on various types of vehicles
\nIn case of products being fitted, remove the old product from the vehicle and replace and fit the new products.
\nEnsure that fitment and services are done using appropriate tools and equipment.
\nCommunicate with customers to explain alignment issues and recommended repairs
\nComplete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
\nEnsure that the correct product has been received from the store as per the job card for fitting on to the customer\u2019s vehicle.
\nProvide any services as specified on the job card.
\nOffer and carry out free check-up for products that we offer if the customer accepts.
\nCross sell other products and services.
\nStay up-to-date with industry advancements and technical information
\nUtilize computerized alignment equipment and other specialized tools to make adjustments
\nInspect suspension systems, steering systems, and tires to diagnose alignment issues
\nCollaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient operation of the shop
\nMaintain high level of housekeeping within the workshops by cleaning equipment and machinery.
\nMaintain a safe working environment and assist with improving overall presentation of the workshop.<\/p>\n

Qualifications and Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Certificate in Automobile Mechanics.
\nMust have a minimum of 2 years of experience in wheel alignment and tire balancing in the automobile industry
\nProficiency in using computerized alignment equipment and diagnostic tools
\nProven knowledge of different types of vehicles, including light trucks and SUVs
\nAbility to interpret and analyze alignment readings and make necessary adjustments
\nAbility to work collaboratively with other technicians and service advisors
\nWillingness to continuously learn and stay updated on advancements in alignment technology and techniques.
\nGood knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics and pneumatic machines.\u00a0
\nProven familiarity with mounting and dismounting tires, as well as performing rotations
\nMust be fluent in English<\/p>\n
