\nThe Welder for the Oil Mill is responsible for all jobs related to metal fabrications,
\n3.0 Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
KEY RESULT AREAS<\/p>\n
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES(DUTIES)<\/p>\n
Operations Management<\/p>\n
Ensuring all failed FFB baskets are urgently fixed to reduce time fruit stays on the floor<\/p>\n
Ensure regular inspection on welding machine to optimise its performance<\/p>\n
Ensuring broken down Cookers are quickly attended to<\/p>\n
ensuring quick attention to Screw Press during down time<\/p>\n
Rebuilding of worn-out Screw Press shafts<\/p>\n
Fixing of damaged Screw Press Screens<\/p>\n
Ensuring quick fixing of Hot water circulation pump<\/p>\n
Timely reporting on faults on Welding Machine<\/p>\n
House Keeping of the Welding Bay<\/p>\n
Team Leadership<\/p>\n
Work with a team of permanent and\u00a0temporal staff, fostering a culture of safety, ethics, and performance.<\/p>\n
4.0 Reporting Relationships
\nReports to:\u00a0Oil Mill Superintendent
\n4.1 Number and Level of Immediate Subordinates<\/p>\n
Assistant Welder<\/p>\n
5.0 Knowledge and Skill Levels<\/p>\n
Minimum Primary\/ Secondary Education:<\/p>\n
Full\u00a0Grade 12 GCE O\u2019Level Certificate or GCSE<\/p>\n
Minimum Vocational\/Professional Qualifications<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0Artisan.<\/p>\n
Certifications:\u00a0Member from a recognised institution.<\/p>\n
Minimum Relevant Work Experience.<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0minimum of\u00a03\u00a0years\u2019 work experience in a busy metal fabrication Workshop.<\/p>\n
Knowledge of the Palm Oil Industry will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
5.5 Desired Attributes<\/p>\n
Leadership: Ability to interpret drawings, visionary, and able to interact with a diverse team of employees;<\/p>\n
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written and Oral skills.<\/p>\n
Computer Literacy: Good Working Knowledge of key computer office user packages such as Word, Excel; Outlook.<\/p>\n
