{"id":6579,"date":"2025-12-02T10:11:31","date_gmt":"2025-12-02T10:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/civil-engineer-at-africa-panorama-investment-group-ltd\/"},"modified":"2026-03-02T00:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T00:14:14","slug":"civil-engineer-at-africa-panorama-investment-group-ltd","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=6579","title":{"rendered":"Civil Engineer at Africa Panorama Investment Group Ltd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>African Panorama Investment Group Limited\u00a0is a comprehensive group corporation with construction installation, real estate development, and overseas investment as its primary businesses and property management, garden greening, and project ornamentation as its supporting businesses.<br \/>\nWe are seeking the services of\u00a0Civil Engineer<br \/>\nQUALITIES REQUIRED<br \/>\ni.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Oversee building contractors during construction and maintenance projects to ensure site requirements are met within safety and quality standards Setup a certification system for construction quality control.<br \/>\nii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Setup a production management tracking and reporting system.<br \/>\niii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Prepares and quantifies detailed chronological lists of project activities and estimates the costs for implementing all in-house construction projects.<br \/>\niv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Carries out frequent house inspections during project implementation to ensure compliance to design drawings and bill items<br \/>\nv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure workplace safety and environmental standards of the company are adhered to.<br \/>\nvi.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Design, implement and Maintain inspection and quality control systems, in order to maintain contractual obligations<br \/>\nvii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Co-ordinate building and construction contractors<br \/>\nviii.\u00a0Generate scopes of works and Bill of Quantities<br \/>\nix.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Carry out cost analysis on projects<br \/>\nx.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Amends working drawings to suit as built at completion of all in-house construction projects<br \/>\nxi.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction (Real Estate).<br \/>\nxii.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum of 2 years of Experience in leadership.<br \/>\nTechnical Skills:<br \/>\nxiii.\u00a0Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.<br \/>\nxiv.\u00a0Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment.<br \/>\nxv.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ability to use construction software and tools for project management and scheduling.<br \/>\nxvi.\u00a0Understanding of structural design principles and calculations.<br \/>\nSite Management:<br \/>\nStrong organizational and time management skills to effectively oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines.<br \/>\nAbility to manage site safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.<br \/>\nKnowledge of quality control processes and procedures.<br \/>\nCommunication and Teamwork:<br \/>\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other team members.<br \/>\nAbility to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.<br \/>\nCollaboration skills to work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project.<br \/>\nProblem-Solving and Decision-Making:<br \/>\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve construction-related issues.<br \/>\nAbility to make informed decisions, considering project constraints and objectives.<br \/>\nAdaptability to handle unexpected challenges and changes in project requirements.<br \/>\nProfessionalism and Ethics:<br \/>\nStrong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.<br \/>\nIntegrity and ethical conduct in dealing with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.<br \/>\nWillingness to stay updated with industry trends, advancements and best practices.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
