Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is currently seeking to employ Fuel Tanker Officers in the Tanker Fleet Department to join our growing team.
\nPOSITION:\u00a0Fuel Tanker Officer (X2)
\nLOCATION:\u00a0Ndola
\nDEPARTMENT:\u00a0Tanker Fleet
\nJOB PURPOSE
\nAssist in managing overall operations and are responsible for the effective and successful management of tanker drivers.
\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Dispatch: Send out detailed and timely loading orders to drivers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with transportation requirements.
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Tracking Reports: Send out daily tracking reports by 09:00 hours to all clients, providing updates on the fleet\u2019s status, progress, and any delays.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Loading and offloading: Expedite loading, border crossing, and offloading procedures to minimize delays and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Demurrage Management: Handle and process demurrage requests after 3 days of delays or as per contractual terms, ensuring all protocols are followed.
\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Documentation: Generate and maintain accurate documentation of all trips and operations, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Accounting: Generate and maintain expense reports of all driver activity from loading, transportation, border-crossing and offloading.
\nQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Minimum Diploma in Transport and Logistics or related field.
\nAt least 2 years\u2019 work experience as an operations assistant, dispatch officer, or logistics officer in a logistics company (experience with fuel tankers will be an added advantage).
\nMust have operational knowledge of dispatching, cross-border transportation, regulatory requirements such as ZRA, ZEMA, ERB, basic accounting and offloading procedures.
\nMust be a resident of Ndola or willing to relocate.<\/p>\n
