This role also supports documentation control, isolation procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with ISO standards (ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018).<br \/>\nYour duties will include but are not limited to the following:<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Ensuring compliance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Monitoring adherence to EMS and OHS procedures and legal requirements.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Participating in environmental and safety audits, inspections, and assessments.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Conducting risk assessments and assist in developing and implementing mitigation plans.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Monitoring environmental &amp; Safety KPIs and coordinating the submission of regulatory reports.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Overseeing and verify proper implementation of isolation and lockout\/tagout procedures.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Maintaining compliance with plant energy isolation standards.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Providing support during major shutdowns and critical isolations.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Ensuring that Permit to Work (PTW) procedures are correctly followed and documented.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Managing compliance documentation, including EMS\/OHS procedures, risk registers, MSDS, incident<br \/>\nlogs, and audit records.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Ensuring controlled document distribution, version control, and archiving in line with company and<br \/>\nISO requirements.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Facilitating internal and external audits by ensuring document readiness and traceability.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Supporting the development and delivery of EMS\/OHS awareness training programs.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Conduct inductions and refresher training on isolations, PTW, and compliance protocols.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the Process Plant.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Identifying compliance gaps and propose corrective\/preventive actions.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Monitoring progress on closure of audit findings and compliance issues.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Supporting root cause investigations and implementation of lessons learned.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Preparing compliance reports for internal and regulatory stakeholders.<br \/>\nTo be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Engineering, or related field.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Minimum of 1\u20133 years\u2019 experience in a similar role within a mining or processing environment.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 internal auditor certification preferred.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Familiarity with Zambian environmental and mining safety legislation.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Experience with document control systems and permit-to-work systems.<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
