\nElectrician (x2)
\nJob Purpose
\nTo guarantee the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all electrical systems within our FMCG production facilities. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, optimizing performance, and ensuring full compliance with Zambian regulations and company standards.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and production equipment to support continuous operations.
\nDevelop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
\nRespond promptly to electrical faults, ensuring quick resolution to maintain productivity.
\nDevelop and follow a preventive maintenance schedule
\nWork closely with production and quality assurance teams to reduce equipment downtime and maintain seamless operations.
\nMaintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and compliance reports.
\nWork closely with production teams to minimize disruptions during repairs and upgrades.
\nImmediate reporting and mitigation of electrical hazards.
\nActive participation in continuous safety training and audits.
\nUphold FMCG hygiene and safety requirements in all electrical tasks.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Diploma in Electrical or Industrial Maintenance, Craft Certificate, or related field.
\nMinimum 3 years in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in FMCG or food processing environments.
\nStrong knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
\nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.<\/p>\n
Mechanical Fitter (x3)
\nJob Purpose:
\nEnsure the efficient operation of mechanical systems and packaging machinery by performing maintenance, repairs, and installations to support smooth FMCG production processes.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment on production lines.
\nAssemble and disassemble extruder machines and other process equipment as required.
\nIdentify spare part requirements and submit requests for supervisor approval.
\nCommunicate effectively with operators regarding spare parts and machine issues.
\nCoordinate maintenance activities with plant supervisors for minimal downtime.
\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of machinery.
\nAssist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
\nMaintain accurate records of service, breakdowns, and downtime hours.
\nAdjust and regulate process settings for optimal machine performance.
\nRespond promptly to breakdowns, resolve issues, and report to the Maintenance Manager.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
Certificate in Mechanical Technician Certificate or related field.
\nComputer literate.
\nMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience in FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environment.
\nMembership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.
\nWorking knowledge of electrical systems.<\/p>\n
Mechanist (x2)
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Perform machining jobs and fabrication tasks as required for production and maintenance.
\nOperate and monitor production machines to ensure optimal performance.
\nCarry out routine and preventive maintenance of workshop equipment and production machinery.
\nSpearhead housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
\nParticipate actively in HSE programs, audits, and compliance activities.
\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
\nEnsure machines are calibrated and adjusted according to product specifications.
\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
\nCollaborate with production and quality teams to meet operational targets.
\nComply with all HSE requirements and promote a culture of safety.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills<\/p>\n
Craft Certificate in Machining, or related field.
\nMinimum 3 years in a similar role within FMCG or manufacturing.
\nStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, milling machine, and drilling machine operations.
\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
\nProblem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\nFamiliarity with safety and compliance standards in manufacturing.
\nGood communication and teamwork abilities.
\nStrong work ethic.
\nAdaptability and flexibility.<\/p>\n
