To assist engineers in training local electricians.<br \/>\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nThe Assistant Electrical Engineer shall be responsible for independently managing, while providing technical guidance for individual construction projects as may be required.<br \/>\nJOB REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong safety awareness with solid basic electrical theory and electromechanical construction knowledge.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Familiar with water and electrical installation procedures on construction sites, and capable of applying relevant standards and installation specifications.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Able to read electrical symbols and understand CAD construction drawings.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proficient with switch circuits and knowledgeable in electrical control systems; capable of troubleshooting and repairing.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strong discipline, obedience, and service-oriented mindset.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proficient understanding of transformer principles, reactive power compensation, and safe switching operations.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Knowledgeable in wiring standards, pipeline layout planning, and installation practices.<br \/>\n8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Familiar with HVAC cooling systems, generator maintenance, water heater supply principles, solar storage systems, and low-voltage systems.<br \/>\n9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must know ZESCO power installation requirements, processes and procedures.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0At least 3 years\u2019 work experience in construction management.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be a paid member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Must be a resident of Ndola or Copperbelt.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
