{"id":6704,"date":"2025-12-10T14:01:10","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T14:01:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/lecturer-school-of-law-at-bootstrap-christian-university\/"},"modified":"2026-03-07T00:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-07T00:14:14","slug":"lecturer-school-of-law-at-bootstrap-christian-university","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=6704","title":{"rendered":"Lecturer \u2013 School of Law at  Bootstrap Christian University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: Lecturer \u2013 School of Law (02 Positions)<br \/>\nReports to: The Dean, School of Law \/ Head of Department<br \/>\nOverall Purpose:<br \/>\nTo teach, supervise, and mentor students in the School of Law, contributing to a high-quality academic program that upholds the values of justice, integrity, and ethical leadership from a Christian perspective.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nTeach and assess courses in specific areas of law (e.g., Contract Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, etc.) at undergraduate levels.<br \/>\nDevelop and update course materials, including lecture notes, reading lists, and assignments, in line with the curriculum.<br \/>\nEngage in scholarly research and publish in reputable academic journals.<br \/>\nSupervise student research projects, dissertations, and moot court activities.<br \/>\nProvide academic advising and mentorship to students, supporting their holistic development.<br \/>\nParticipate actively in departmental and faculty meetings, as well as university-wide committees.<br \/>\nContribute to the community engagement and outreach activities of the School of Law.<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\nA Master of Laws (LLM) degree is essential. A PhD in Law will be a distinct advantage.<br \/>\nAn undergraduate Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with at least a merit or its equivalent.<br \/>\nA valid practicing certificate as an Advocate in Zambia is highly desirable.<br \/>\nA minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at a university level.<br \/>\nPost-Graduate Diploma in Teaching Methodology<br \/>\nDemonstrated potential for high-quality research and publication.<br \/>\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nCore Requirement for All Positions: Christian Commitment<br \/>\nA personal Christian faith and commitment to supporting the university\u2019s mission through student mentorship and academic support is a fundamental requirement for all roles.
