It\u2019s a mission that takes commitment, but as an industry leader we aim for nothing but excellence in everything we do.<br \/>\nWe are looking for a Capital Sales Engineer to drive sales for our Territory in Central Africa<br \/>\nPurpose of the role:<br \/>\nThe role will report into the Territory Manager \u2013 Central Africa and is responsible for driving the sales of the product offering and solutions for crushing, screening, mobile crushing and screening and attachment tools divisions in Central Africa. This role involves working closely with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that meet their requirements. The Sales Engineer will work with internal teams, including product development and after-sales support, to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\nSales Strategy &amp; Execution:<\/p>\n<p>Wear a \u201cRock Processing Hat\u201d whenever visiting a customer<br \/>\nDevelop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the Central Africa Territory.<br \/>\nIdentify and target potential customers in the mining and construction industries as well as identifying optimization and brownfield replacement opportunities<br \/>\nIdentify aftermarket opportunities for existing installed base and communicate to the responsible functions<br \/>\nConduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.<\/p>\n<p>Customer Relationship Management:<\/p>\n<p>Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.<br \/>\nFacilitate and support the provision of technical advice and support to customers regarding the selection and operation of equipment<br \/>\nConduct site visits to assess customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Technical Expertise:<\/p>\n<p>Understand the technical specifications and operational features of the Rock Processing equipment.<br \/>\nCollaborate with the product team to communicate customer feedback and suggest product improvements.<br \/>\nFacilitate product demonstrations and training sessions to customers and dealers.<\/p>\n<p>Negotiation &amp; Sales Closing:<\/p>\n<p>Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations to customers across all offerings.<br \/>\nNegotiate terms and conditions to close sales deals, ensuring profitable business for the company.<br \/>\nMonitor and manage the sales process from initial inquiry to final delivery and payment.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting &amp; Documentation:<\/p>\n<p>Utilization of the CRM (Salesforce) to maintain &amp; manage opportunity pipeline, CVRs as well as adhering to the relevant approval processes for quotes and contracts<br \/>\nMaintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.<br \/>\nPrepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.<br \/>\nCoordinate with logistics and after-sales teams to ensure timely delivery and support.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field or other Diploma equivalent may be considered subject to experience and prior performance track record in the industry<br \/>\nProven experience in sales, preferably in Mining, heavy equipment or construction machinery industry.<br \/>\nKnowledge of crushing and screening equipment is required.<br \/>\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts.<br \/>\nWillingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory<\/p>\n<p>Key Competencies:<\/p>\n<p>Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of crushing and screening equipment and its applications.<br \/>\nSales Skills: Strong ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals.<br \/>\nCustomer Focus: Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of customers.<br \/>\nProblem-Solving: Ability to diagnose customer issues and offer effective solutions.<br \/>\nCommunication: Clear and persuasive in both written and verbal communication.<br \/>\nOrganizational Skills: Capable of managing time and resources effectively to meet sales targets.<\/p>\n<p>Work Environment:<\/p>\n<p>The role involves a mix of office-based work, customer site visits, and travel to industry events or trade shows.<br \/>\nRegular interaction with clients and internal teams is required to ensure customer satisfaction and operational success.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
