We are in search of an individual who can champion Barrick\u2019s DNA by:<br \/>\nCommunicating Honestly, Transparently, and Acting with Integrity<br \/>\nExhibiting a Results-Driven approach<br \/>\nDelivering solutions that are Fit for Purpose<br \/>\nDedicating themselves to Building a Sustainable Legacy<br \/>\nTaking Responsibility and being Accountable<br \/>\nCommitting to Zero Harm<br \/>\nCultivating strong and meaningful Partnerships<br \/>\nReporting to the Coordinator Surveyor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient provision of accurate and timely surveying requirements on the expansion project leases. To ensure all monthly measurements are undertaken in a timely and cost-effective manner and that mine surveying standards are maintained at all times.<br \/>\nYour duties will include but are not limited to the following:<br \/>\nEnsure the provision of accurate and timely survey service to mine<br \/>\nEstablish and monitor primary and secondary controls within the mine lease area<br \/>\nEnsure appropriate facilities, procedures and workforce competence to achieve legal compliance, incident prevention and the achievement of tasks in an environmentally sustainable manner.<br \/>\nCarry out detail surveys for execution of surveying of infrastructure as-builts.<br \/>\nSet out of all mine design and geological requirements which includes preparation of set out plans for all designated stall to utilize<br \/>\nCarry out stockpile surveys on a regular basis for accurate stockpile volumes to be calculated at the end of each month<br \/>\nResponsible to carry out aerial surveys of project areas using the Drones.<br \/>\nParticipate in the preparation of yearly mining plans to be submitted to the Zambian Mines department<br \/>\nMonitoring of wall instability in pit, dumps, dams and all structural deformations with accurate reporting on required basis<br \/>\nMaintenance of surveying equipment to required standards.<br \/>\nTo be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:<br \/>\nFull Grade Twelve School Certificate<br \/>\nMinimum of a Degree in Mining, Geomatic, Land or Engineering Surveying<br \/>\nMember of the Engineering Institution of Zambian<br \/>\nA minimum of 2 years survey experience in the mining industry<br \/>\nExperience in large multi pit operations utilizing GPS equipment, 3D scanners, Total stations, data recorders arid associated surveying software like Vulcan, Arc view, Data mine or Surpac<br \/>\nMust have a valid Driver\u2019s License.<br \/>\nDrone operating License will be an added advantage<br \/>\nMust be familiar with safe working practices.<br \/>\nWhat We Can Offer You:<br \/>\nA comprehensive compensation package including bonuses and site-specific benefits.<br \/>\nThe ability to make a difference and lasting impact.<br \/>\nWork in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team<br \/>\nOpportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues.<br \/>\nAccess to a variety of career opportunities across the organisation<br \/>\nApplicants that meet the above stated requirements are invited to submit their CVs to the Job Portal link: https:\/\/jobs.barrick.com\/.<br \/>\nBarrick has a strong commitment to environmental, health and safety management.<br \/>\nBarrick offers employment opportunities to both qualified women and men.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
