\nJob Purpose
\nTo support the organization in safeguarding its information assets by monitoring security systems, identifying and mitigating cyber risks, and ensuring compliance with IT policies and standards. The role is critical in maintaining a secure technology environment, investigating incidents, and promoting security awareness across the organization.

\nUnder the supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the following are among the key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nSecurity Monitoring & Incident Management
\n\u25a0 Continuously monitor security systems and networks for anomalies or breaches.\u25a0 Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
\nPolicy & Compliance
\n\u25a0 Review and ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and procedures.\u25a0 Maintain and update documentation related to security protocols.
\nRisk Reporting
\n\u25a0 Prepare and submit monthly Information Security and Cyber Risk reports to Management.
\nVulnerability Management
\n\u25a0 Assist in tracking and closing vulnerabilities identified through assessments and penetration tests.
\nAwareness & Training
\n\u25a0 Support security awareness programmes to strengthen organizational resilience.
\nContinuous Improvement
\n\u25a0 Stay informed on emerging trends and developments in information and cybersecurity and recommend improvements.
\nOther Duties
\n\u25a0 Undertake assignments as directed by the Chief Risk Officer.<\/p>\n
Required Skills and Attributes
\n\u25a0 Data analytical skills.\u25a0 Decision-making ability.\u25a0 Strategic planning and implementation abilities.\u25a0 Understanding of information security principles.\u25a0 Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience
\n\u25a0 Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field.\u25a0 A Master\u2019s degree in any of the above fields will be an added advantage.\u25a0 Professional security management certifications such as CISM, Security+, CISSP, or other relevant certifications.\u25a0 Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a combination of Risk Management, Information Security, and IT roles.\u25a0 Knowledge of common information security management frameworks.<\/p>\n
