ZLA in partnership with the Paralegal Alliance Network (PAN) and the Transparency International Zambia (TI-Z) will be implementing a three-year project funded by from the European Union (EU). The project titled, Strengthening the role of CSOs and citizens in promoting good land governance\u00a0will be implemented in the Central Province (Mkushi and Serenje districts), Luapula Province (Mansa and Kawambwa districts), and North-Western Province (Kalumbila and Mufumbwe districts). ZLA is therefore soliciting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to take up the position of\u00a0Project Manager (PM),\u00a0who will report to the\u00a0Programmes, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager.\u00a0The PM will be based at the ZLA National Office (in Lusaka) with routine travel to the target provinces.<br \/>\n1. Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Develop and manage detailed project plans including deliverables, budgets and workplans.<br \/>\nOversee outputs from relevant consultants and project partners.<br \/>\nCoordinate with finance unit on financial forecasting and expenditure tracking.<br \/>\nProvide technical support to project staff and national CSOs in implementation of project activities.<br \/>\nParticipate in policy advocacy and lobbying efforts at national level.<br \/>\nTrack project progress and serve as the main point of contact for project updates, ensuring delivery to agreed quality, cost, and time standards.<br \/>\nSupport learning and adaptive project management through evidence and feedback.<br \/>\nMaintain comprehensive project documentation (reports, partnership agreement, budgets, workplan, risk logs, lessons learned)<br \/>\nEnsure integrity, transparency and compliance to ZLA and EU guidelines.<br \/>\nUndertake monitoring and support visits to project target provinces.<br \/>\nIdentify and support fundraising efforts for scaling up and extension.<br \/>\nDevelop and maintain positive relationships with relevant national external stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a02. Skills, Qualifications and Experience<br \/>\nA suitable candidate for this position must possess the following:<\/p>\n<p>A Masters\u2019 degree in Environment management, Environmental law, project management, development studies or its equivalent.<br \/>\nA minimum of five (5) years\u2019 experience in project management, preferably environmental and land rights related projects.<br \/>\nExperience in advocacy\u00a0with the Government and the private sector actor.<br \/>\nExperience in capacity development of CSOs.<br \/>\nHigh degree of initiative, flexibility and creativity<br \/>\nWillingness to travel outside duty station (Lusaka)<br \/>\nExceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.<br \/>\nExperience in managing EU funded projects<br \/>\nValid driver\u2019s license (preferably manual vehicle) with at least 2 years driving experience.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
