{"id":6790,"date":"2025-12-16T14:02:39","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T14:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/job\/legal-compliance-officer-at-bhascore-mining-zambia-limited\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T00:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T00:14:14","slug":"legal-compliance-officer-at-bhascore-mining-zambia-limited","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/zambia\/?post_type=job_listing&p=6790","title":{"rendered":"Legal &amp; Compliance officer at Bhascore Mining Zambia Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Provide legal advisory support on all company-related matters, including compliance with the Mines and Minerals Development Act and related regulations &amp; international laws.<br \/>\nDraft, review, negotiate contracts, MOUs and agreements with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.<br \/>\nOversee environmental monitoring and reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and prompt response to compliance-related incidents, accidents or complaints.<br \/>\nLead regular audits, site inspections and compliance assessments to identify and correct legal violations.<br \/>\nEnsure corporate governance and statutory compliance with PACRA, ZRA, Ministry of Mines, ZEMA and other Zambian Agencies.<br \/>\nSupport the HR function with labour law guidance, employment contracts, and dispute resolution.<br \/>\nEnsure the safe custody of legal documents like certificates, licenses, statutory records and oversee compliance-related training of staff.<br \/>\nAdvise management on risk mitigation strategies, licensing and regulatory matters.<br \/>\nLiaise with external counsel, regulators and government agencies where required.<br \/>\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, revising company policies as needed to remain compliant<br \/>\nSupport due diligence, JV structures and investment-related legal processes.<br \/>\nStrong analytical, reporting, negotiation, advisory and communication abilities, especially for technical and legal subjects.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced mining environment.<br \/>\nRemuneration will be based on the candidate\u2019s experience and competency as per requirements in the JD.<br \/>\nAll other company terms and conditions will be discussed during the interview of the selected shortlisted candidates.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
